Buying Product

All products in WorldAlpha come in 5 qualities, abbreviated Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 and Q5. The better the quality, the bigger the benefit the item has. To purchase items you need to go to the Product Marketplace and find the item and click on it. This will give you all 5 qualities. The Marketplace works a little like a stock market, where you can buy what sellers are offering it at, this is the traditional "purchase at store" model, but also, you can see what people are "bidding" or willing to pay for it. You can quickly see on this page what the top bids and offers for all 5 qualities are.

Click on the View for the quality you which to buy. Here you will see all the Offers and Bids for a particular Quality. To buy you have one of 2 options.

1. If the Offer price is what you like then click Buy. You will now have to select which Entity, your citizen, country or ministry. The building in which it is to go into, as well as the quantity. If you buy in the same city as your building, shipping is free. Otherwise you'll need to purchase shipping vouchers. You will see a total price and you can click Buy.
2. If the Offer price is more than you are willing to pay you can put in a bid, and see if another seller might agree to this price. Usually you should make this between the lowest sell offer and the top bid price to get a good chance of fulfilling it. Use the form at the top and you’ll now have to select which Entity, your citizen, country or ministry. The building in which it is to go into, as well as the quantity. If you buy in the same city as your building, shipping is free. Otherwise you'll need to purchase shipping vouchers. You will see a total price and you can click Submit Bid. This bid offer can be fulfilled at any time. If you wish you can view your Purchase Orders and cancel it, if it hasn’t been fulfilled.
