Military - Battlefield Overview
Battlefields
Battlefields are generated when at least 1 unit from 2 warring countries come together on the same coordinate on the map. A battle ensues and can be viewed on the Battlefield. Every soldier and crew that is part of the unit is involved in the battle, whether the player is online or not. Battlefield rounds are 5 minutes longs. Each soldier or crew member that is online has 5 actions they can do each 5 minute round. Battlefieds continue until all forces from one side are gone, either through retreat or KIA.Soldier Round Options

1,000 Battle Damage represents 1 Hit point for a soldier, or 1 Armor point for Vehicles.
Offline Soldiers
If a soldier is offline, or online and doesn't select any option in a round, then a soldier will automatically do 1 Opposing Forces attack per round. No Weapons
Find yourself as a soldier on the battlefield with no weapons? No worries, you can use your fists. Not a huge amount of damage, but you'll still be contributing to the fight.Killed in Action
All soldiers who have health or happiness fall to less than 10, will be considered KIA, and need to be medicvaced back to their barracks.Destroyed Vehicles
If a vehicle's armor drops to 0, the vehicle is considered destroyed, and all crew members will now be infantry in the unit.City Occupation
When an invading Unit has a victory within a neighborhood, then that neighborhood is considered occupied until that map coordinate is cleared of all enemy units. When a neighborhood is occupied it has 2 major impacts on the neighborhood. All city and country taxes collected in that city will have a percentage of them go to the occupying countries finances. The amount is % of city occupied * 50%. So, a city with 1 neighborhood that is occupied would lose 50% of taxes. A city with 3 neighborhoods with 1 occupied would lose 33%*50% or 16.5% of taxes.
The second big impact is that all citizens within the neighborhood will be hit with an unhappiness penalty nightly, equal to 1 unhappiness per hour of occupation for that Earth day.
